Age he started swimming:

I started swimming when I was about 5 and yes I remember being scared to put my head under the water. I think I started with YCBC in purple hats completing only half a lesson before being moved to yellow. I spent around 2 weeks in yellow before I shot into green hats and was taught by Helen Recchia. Before long I moved up to blue and then red spending about 1 year been taught by my favourite teacher Coral Magson. Once I got my club badge I moved to the then black hats under Pat Baxter and then B squad under Adam Baxter. After gaining my NEC qualifying times I moved into A Squad and was coached by Alan Sunderland (my favourite coach) spending about 1½ years before moving to Top Squad and being coached by Andrea Ellis. Since then I’ve been coached by Bryan Craig, Bradley McBain, Helen Recchia and Dawn Martland all of who I have thoroughly enjoyed been coached by.

Most memorable moment:

When I got my 100m breastroke national time at Sheffield back in 2007 then coach Brian Craig climbed on the blocks and screamed his head off for me. I remember him getting told off by the officials but it didn’t matter at the time.
