THANK YOU TO EVERYONE WHO SUPPORTED OUR GALA THIS YEAR. THE ATMOSPHERE WAS GREAT AND THERE WERE SOME REALLY GOOD SWIMS.
HUGE THANK YOUS TO EVERYONE WHO GAVE UP THEIR SUNDAY TO HELP ON THE DAY ESPECIALLY THOSE WHO HAD GCSE MATHS THE NEXT DAY.

The Late Alan Clarkson
It is with sadness to announce the death of
Alan Clarkson who passed away suddenly
on Saturday 22nd May 2010. Our thoughts
and condolences go out to Alan’s family.
Alan has been actively involved with the
Club and the ASA for a long time both
competitively and on the management
committees.

Congratulations to all who have already broken YCBC age group records this
year.
Particular Congratulations should go to Bradley Swainston and James Wilby who have recently broken long standing overall YCBC records, previously held by YCBC swimmers who went on to represent their country in international and Olympic swimming events.

A huge thank you to all who took part in the December fundraising efforts.
Bag Packing at ASDA raised £818. The majority of packers were from Top and A squads. With more participation next year from other squads we could raise a lot more money next year.
Our "cottage in the lakes" holiday was won by the Langan family. Thank you to Jane and Chris Miller for donating the prize which enabled us to raise £310.
Our Xmas party was a big success enjoyed by all sections of the club and raised £239 for club funds.
A sponsored "BIG SWIM" is planned for March 2010. Sponsor forms will be distributed towards the end of January by your squad gala secretary or fee collector.
